I heard you for the first time yesterday at Mule Day in Ider, Ala., and I have been enjoying the lingering blessing all day today. WOW! I am a Gospel Music fan, born-again Christian, a regular church-goer, choir member and a frequent soloist, but I don't believe I have ever been more touched by voices, lyrics, and the presentation of Christ. I sat on the front row, and although I never raised my hand, I continually wiped the tears from my eyes, which is MY way of worshipping. Thank you for your sweet spirit of humility and praise and love for the Lord. I know you will rise to great heights in the music industry, but I hope you will always stay "back home" in your hearts. Our daughter was killed instantly in an automobile crash at the age of 16. It has been 23 years, but I seemed to feel all of your pain with you, and at the same time, felt again the peace that God has provided through His comfort to us, and to you. I try to take advantage of every opportunity to sing songs which relay the message of peace, comfort and hope in the midst of heartache and trials, believing that God is pleased and others can be blessed. Perhaps that is why I was so drawn into your ministry. God has a place for me in a small church who lovingly accepts my imperfections; but I am so thankful for folks like you who can reach large crowds with the same message presented so beautifully. Thank you for giving to the Lord. I plan to give your contact information to our pastor with a recommendation that you be invited to share with our congregation as soon as possible. In the meantime, I will pray for you and look for other opportunities to see and hear you in person when your schedule brings you to my "neck of the woods".

Hi guys, I am a friend of Sam and Kathy middleton here in N.C. Sam played me your CD and I wanted to tell you that I love the song "Why won't matter". It was a blessing to me. I have yet to get through it without tears. My wife and I lost 2 children to miscarriage before our daughter Holliston was born. We are expecting our 2nd daughter any day now. God has been so good to us!
I hope to meet y'all the next time you are down this way. My wife and I along with a friend of ours sing Southern Gospel as well, and love to pick the brain of anyone in the "business". Hate to use that word, but I'm sure you understand. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you.
